Now, I'm a big fan of the movie "The Fast and the Furious", I mean, what's not to like? Fast cars and even faster chicks in their skimpies parading around next to the aforementioned fast cars.

The second and third movie were total balls, but, when news of "Fast & Furious" appeared, boasting the original cast members my pant region was all a tingle.

"Fast & Furious" is, of course, the fourth movie in the series but is set between the 2nd and 3rd in a Star Warsy prequel kinda way (except with less Jar Jar) and is essentially a retread of the first movie.

All the main cast members of the original are back (Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez (Mmm) and Jordana Brewster (less Mmm but still mmm)) and the movie begins with a spectacular re-introduction to the characters Dom and Letty as they attempt to hi-jack fuel tankers.

Without giving the game away (not that plot is a major point in this film) something happens which quickly expedites the usage of extremely fast cars and people race and smash into things.

That is pretty much your lot...

If you liked the original or even the sequels you'll probably like this movie too. However, if you're expecting Schindler's List but with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR with 360hp (270kW) and 6-speed twin clutch sportronic shift transmission then you can forget it! Leave your brain and reasoning skills at the box office as you won't need them and just enjoy.

3/5

(have yet to watch FF4)

I enjoyed Tokyo Drift (ridiculous Hulk car) and the "fact" that only the Japs know how to drift?

Utterly ridiculous, but what else would you expect? I just knew that if I went to see these movies, I would be guaranteed at least a grin when I leave the cinema. (or blockbusters)

5-Stars for more epic Vin Diesel one-liners.

haven't seen the FF4 yet;if enough people give it good reviews I might see it.
I recommend "Nitro",which was just released on DVD.What it lacked in smarmy one-liners it more than made up for with a cool story.

I just saw Fast and Furious, but I am disappointed.I wouldn't have minded the dumb plot, but most of the car chases were entirely computer generated.
