Hello everyone,

I am new to these forums, but I ran across them randomly while hard at work today... The overall attitude seems to be very friendly as opposed to a couple other MA boards I have browsed briefly. Fellowship with other martial artists is often tricky as by very nature we tend to be combative.

In any case, I'm glad to be here!

Some basic information about me and my martial arts studies, I studied American (Ed parker) Kenpo on & off for about 4 years before decided I wanted to get serious with my Martial arts and was accepted under my current Sifu to learn Traditional Wing Chun Gung Fu. I am a programmer to pay the bills, but I hope to teach martial arts eventually.

Hello, distant new friend.
Be aware cultural differences can be confusing.
Anyone that deliberately posts bad tempered stuff is swiftly dealt with by the mysterious Mods.
A good rule of thumb is that if you think that someone is trying to be offensive you are probably misunderstanding their sense of humour.
Enjoy and contribute often.

Welcome :) We tend to be noncombative, thanks in part mostly to Yodas crochityness (is that even a word) and Kgirls boot.
