Right this is intended for the UK MAPers.

If we're going to have a meeting/seminar we're first of all going to have to decide where we're going to have it!

Remember if you want it in your town, your going to have to organise it!

The reason i voted for the Midlands is that it is central to the whole of the uk, everybody, shouldn't have too much of a problem getting their.

Just my opinion!

Please note that i don't actually live their and would have to travel a couple of hours to get their myself!

Kinda stating the obvious but we`ll need to go somewhere that there is a MAP friendly club.

Cheers Spike, I should have made it more clear, we obviously need someone on site to organise a hall, help as obtain accomodation, food, beer etc

How about we all go up to Liverpool, get the ferry and do a nice booze cruise to Ireland? I'm sure we can use a pub car park for the training while we're waiting for the pints of Guinness to settle.

ehh...no .....forget I said that..................

Just an outsiders (and uninvited - sob!) opinion but don't the majority of you guys train with Tin tin? If so wouldn't it be best to hold the seminar/meeting there?

Looks like my plans for a trip OS may be put on the backburner - my Missus is eyeing off a pool for our place.

Sounds like it'll be fun - don't forget the pics and post 'em on the gallery when able. If Waya, me and the dragon's can't be there we may as well look on with envy.

Have a pint for me afterwards - whatever the hell that is - just don't spill Col's, he gets distressed easily.

Ok folks, less talk and more action.

As an idea, why don't we start thinking about a meet next Summer.

If it's gonna be the Midlands, we need someone in that area to look into the possibilities.

It'd be nice if we could get chalet's or shared accomodation for a bunch of people, so's we could spend the weekend together, training as well as socialising.

Any volunteers in the Midlands then???

Who needs chalets, real martial artists sleep under the stars!

However having laid down that challenge I'll be finding myself a nice five star hotel. Well, a hotel anyway.

A shack at least.

Its just an idea but I think universities rent out their accomodation over the summer for a reasonable fee. That would also solve the problem of somewhere to train too, cos there's always a sport hall at a uni. Plus drink is cheap in uni towns :D

Okay, I like K-girls idea, but we need someone on the ball down there (or up there if you live in Wales ;) ), anyone willing to do it?
