Well, after an hour and a half of being pretty much naked and felt up by five osteopaths, I've been told I have very strong quads :D but my hamstrings are pretty tight, as is a little muscle in my hip, which is the cause of posture, clicking and flexibility issues. I've been given some exercises for them and I'm starting 'treatment', but do you guys have any good exercises for loosening/stretching/developing the hamstrings?

Good mornings, though don't go too heavy with the weight.

I found a really interesting exercise on youtube by that elastic steel guy. Not sure about some of his MA stuff, but his flexibility stuff seems pretty decent.
The exercise I'm thinking of was where you stand side on to a wall, keep one foot on the ground, put the other on the wall at hip height and move your upper body up and down. Focus on pulling your upper body up with your hamstring of the leg on the ground. It strengthens and stretches at the same time, and it has improved my flexibility by leaps and bounds. I'm at work so I can get on youtube to post the link, but I'll look for it tonight.
Also be interesting to see what other people think of the exercise.

Thats similar to the hamstring exercise i use except i stand with one leg resting on a weights bar just over hip height with the standing foot positioned at about 90 degrees to the bar. Reach out towards your toes of the raised leg and then the opposite way towards the floor.
Also try opening your hips with your standing foot turned 180 degrees(ish) and simulate a side kick, then stretch again towards your foot. once doen change legs and repeat.
Raise the bar a little as you feel you are getting further with your stretch.
Seems to work for me as i also have tight hamstrings and have trouble stretching.

They can be done on the floor with your feet jammed under something.
