What are somelower back muscle exercises and I heard that you can do them everyday since the lowerback has a high supply of oxygen?

When i joined the gym, the fitness instructor gave me some basic things to do. One was this a "hyper extension". Basically you need a bench at a incline the following pictures give you an idea how to do it. Once you get comfortable doing it with just body weight, you can hold a weight in your hands and continue to build the muscle. It is also good to hold the position when up right for a couple of seconds

I was told, because many weightlifters/body-builders don't do this enough all the muscle is on the front of their body and they do not have the muscles in the back to keep them upright, causing curvature of the spine and a 'hunch'
