I think that the fact that you headbutted walls commented enough on your intelligence to be honest. :p

As to conditioning your head, I think the simplest answer is don't.

i know it seems like i have some kind of brain damage, but the reason i started headbutting walls was because me and a mate were bored in a history lesson so we decided to find out who had the hardest head by headbutting things. we started small ie rulers (side on so it hurt more), then we mover on to desks, then walls. eventually my friennd decided to headbutt a steel I beam holding the school up and nearly floored himself. thats when i called it a day and admitted defeat. i know it was stupid but it will come in handy someday, maybe 20 or 40 years down the line but someday...

Hey, if Shark is picking up broads because of his MA training he has discovered the TRUE goal of martial arts ;)

I seem to have developed extensive callousing on my forehead from neck training as well, I haven't tested it to see if it has become harder though. I wouldn't think that doing actual head conditioning would be worthwhile for anybody who isn't a shaolin monk. Too risky on the brain.

1) Repeatedly slam your head into a large bucket of rocks.

2) When you are ready replace the rocks with sand, repeat.

3) Let me know what happens!

You learn quickly, grasshopper.

As any doctor will tell you, repeated blows to the head will cause brain trama. Brain cells have a somewhat unique characteristic, in that, they do not regenerate. Unlike other cells in the body, a person is born with all the brain cells they will ever have.

The most you can do is callous your skin. This would probably make a slight difference in cushioning a blow, but if the striking object is of dense material, it will not be a significant difference.

Better use of time and training would be to learn defensive tactics to protect the head. The best defense is not to be there, so get the head out of the way.

If you still insist, go find some of those guys that "develop" there hands by striking into hot pots of rocks and sand. They have "powerful" hands, but they can bearly move them. Translate that to your brain.
