Well reading a little into the webpage I read this...

"6th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido from the American Teachers Association of the Martial Arts"
http://www.usahapkido.com/history_of_kia.php

Then you go to the A.T.A.M.A. website and I read this...
"Although not a ranking organization, A.T.A.M.A. does recognize and appreciate that some instructor members may be unable, for various reasons, to obtain rank advancement within their particular art through traditional means"
http://www.atama.us/ranking.htm

I think that more than warrants a little bit of caution. And personally I have a REAL pet peeve when it comes to instructors of a KOREAN martial art calling themselves sensei. Big warning sign when they do that imho.

You have some good schools up there with great teachers. I would really look at a few more first.

If you can drive 15 min more I highly recommend these folks. Highly!

Hello,

Must agree with Dave here...here is a simple way to look at this, is an instructor is measured by the quality of his students, Master Mike has a great school.

Try there first...you will not regret it.
