Hi all,

Last Sunday I attended a pressurepoint seminar with Rick Clark again. I am pleased to say that it was well attended and extrememly well hosted by the Sussex Karate Federation based at Lancing Leisure Centre, Manor Road, Lancing, Sussex. http://www.sussexkarate.com

All levels of pain was experienced and enhanced by the fact that we had to "do" each other repeatedly by taking turns with different people to find the PP's on different "bodies" so to speak!

During the course a demonstration was performed by the club of what their kata entailed. A slight variation of what I am used to but extremely well performed! Timing and spirit was I have to admit very impressive. This was demonstrated (Heian/Pinan Shodan and Nidan) as applications of certain parts of each kata were offered to the audience as further interpretations to consider.

If anyone ever finds themselves in the area of this club, I would strongly recommend you contact Sensei Martin Day and take a look at one of his classes. It's a very familly orientated class and with vibrant moves and enthusiasm to match.

I was fortunate to see Keith LeBihan there as well, a very skilled and experienced martial artist (please see link for details http://www.p-k-j.org/ukmeet/2002ins.html#keith) and am pleased to say that my current and previous Sensei were able to make the class as well. Even stump came along...not that he stuck out like a sore thumb in his Lau Gar outfit or anything :D

Pictures to follow...just need to find the money to get them processed!
