Evening.
I've had what I guess is a sprained hand for a while. The injury is centred on the meaty bit (what scientific terminology!) just before my wrist on the side of my little finger.
It's something I did in karate a fair while ago (can't remember how long now tbh), and every now and then I'll hurt it again (usually from a sloppy punch etc). It's not particularly painful, there's no swelling and I have full ROM, so it's nothing serious. However, I'd like to help it heal asap.
So does anyone know any tricks or techniques? As you can imagine, I can't exactly rest it, as I need to use a keyboard alot, and I'm left handed (where the injury is). Would something like arnica cream help at all? Or is it just rest and little aggrivation for my poor appendage?
cheers
