Just today I noticed I got a stretch mark on my left arm bicep that runs about 3 inches from my arm pit. First time I noticed it was last year and it was only about an inch long. I thought it was just a bruise or scar from wrestling around. Never paid much attention to it. So today I took a nice look at it and it's a damn stretch mark. When I just started lifting about 3 years ago I used to do curls about 3times (3 sets of 8 reps/ 4 sets of 6 reps) a week for about a year and a half. I didn't notice anything before. Since then I've been doing a lot of weighted chin ups and pullups, horizontal pullups, and other pull-type exercises to go with my push exercises.
Is there any way to prevent any further stretch marks from appearing? Also, is there a way for the current one to heal?
