We've all seen the awesome trailers where they curved bullets around obstacles to hit targets and Angelina Jolie looking like, well, Angelina Jolie, but is the movie any good?
Sadly, no...
The movie is very loosely based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and stars James McAvoy as a accountant who suddenly finds out that he is actually gifted with the ability to shoot the wings off flies, i.e., become part of a clandestine group of assassins who take their orders from a loom... Yes, you read right, a loom...
The movie is very silly and also extremely dull but peppered with a handful of ultra cool scenes. Curving bullets is so much better than bullet time! :D
It might be worth catching on DVD or on TV when it's on and fans of the comic book should probably stay away.
All in all it was a pretty average action flick.
2/5 stars.
