View Full Version : reducing the rep range in the crossfit introductory workout

Hey. I'm doing the crossfit introductory workout you can find here: http://www.crossfit.com/journal/2006/10/beginners_workout_may_03_cfj_1.html

And I was thinking: really, really let's take the rep range down. I mean, 18 reps on the deadlift? I was thinking in terms of a 3x10.

I'd stick with the program - Crossfit is an entirely different animal - largely an endurance based workout.

Cool. I notice that they do sometimes have days where they just do 1-1-1-1etc. so basically I have to wait until I'm onto proper crossfit as such before I can do max effort work. Seems fair enough.
