I've had some serious pain radiating from the right hip into my appendix area and my right abdomen for the last month and a half. I had my appendix checked when it started and they said it was not my appendix; now, my question is: how the hell do I get rid of it?
I rested it for about 2 and a half weeks (no ninpo and no gym)--nothing, it still hurt.
I went back to training both (ninpo and gym) for the last 4 weeks and the pain is still there.
I'm at a loss--help.

Right lower abdomen usually doesn't refer to appendix even though it is where it's located because appendicitis usually triggers rebound pain to the other side. My question is more on what triggered it, how did it start then i maybe I can give you a more definite answer. Too much exertion sometimes causes hernias which may need surgery to return what dropped to its original place. If it is more towards the hip, then, may be a torn iliopsoas muscle which is common where the muscle inserts into the femur. Hopefully this helps.
It's a location thing as to whether I can recomend anyone. See a doctor.

Well I saw a appendix/hernia specialist (best in Montreal) and he said it was not either; however, I just find a month and a half a long time to have pain. It's not debilitating but it is annoying.
Thanks for the replies.

soft tissue tears usually takes 6 weeks to heal and if you have developed some scarring, then, everytime you stretch, you're ripping it more;
you may want to see a physiotherapist that can evaluate it further, probably ultrasound it to soften adhesions and get rid of the pain

I have the same problem, abdominal pain radiating to my hip and lower back.
The pain started from kicking the heavy bag and doing isometric stretches. I feel mostly the pain when I am doing a side split from a standing position in my lover ab.
Can anyone update this subject, give an advice,
I was browsing the net and I find that the Psoas muscle can cause these symptoms?
Anyone know how to help ?
