Working (or pretending to) from my office in Arundel, West Sussex doing some preliminary desk research for a study we're about to run, and surfing for martial arts info at the same time.

Also sat in the office allegedly working. Us martial artists seem to compensate for training very hard by relaxing all day at work! ;)
Would be good if somebody organised times to meet in the chat section, as its never used currently.......

Your not wrong there Stumpy :)
I don't hate work, but its only for the money! Makes me laugh how some people love the little bit power they get from their job. Usually just some half assed manager at that. I think martial arts must have changed my perspective on all of that!

Just got home from work (live & work in Wigan) - sat here eating chicken & rice waiting for time to go train.
Tonight I have 2 classes...
1. Doce Pares Eskrima - 2 hours of whacking each other with an assorted range of bits of wood.
2. MMA Sparring class - 1 hour of Vale Tudo sparring. Probably a few rounds of standup to start with, maybe a few rounds of just working the clinch, then the rest of the time as 5min rounds of "whatever happens".

Good thread idea. Frederick, Maryland, trying to figure out why net use lpt1 \\printserver\hplaserj /persistent:yes isn't working. I alternate brain and body exercise, I guess. Although I get paid so pitifully little that I had to cut out aikido until I get back into the black. I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me, you know the drill.
I'm hoping to find some transportation, maybe a carpool or something, to get to either the Bujinkan dojo 30 miles away, or Pesilat's friend 30 miles in the other direction

I'm sitting at home with my feet up with my laptop surfin the forums (something I do everyday :D ). But I do work nights, so I have to get in the shower soon to get ready for work :( If this was thursday (or tuesday, saturday), I would be just getting done class (at 1:00pm) and getting ready to run home to shower, then go to work LOL. But I'm off this thursday WOOOHOOO. That means I'll take my normal day class, then go back for a second round later that night. :D hehehehehe

Well, another long work week. Went in at 8 last night, and got home at 8:30 today so I am lazy and just oozed out of bed (much earlier than I would have liked). Now I am eating which is something I love to do LOL. Then this afternoon I will yet again attempt to remember TKD forms for more than 5 minutes since every time I do them, I forget them 5 minutes later :(
