What do you mean by plyometrics? Only leg jumping?

A plyometric contraction involves first a rapid eccentric movement, followed by a short amortization phase, then an explosive concentric movement, which enables the synergistic muscles to engage in the myotatic-stretch reflex during the stretch-shortening cycle.
like a box jump.......jump off box and hit the ground...causing the rapid eccentric movement
the imideatly jump causing the explosive contraction.
they can be done upper or lower body

The thing he does at the beginning is not, I'll agree, plyometric. But towards the end he was obvously doing plyometrics...

Interesting. I've seen them done on the Bachar ladder before... but I was always more impressed with the guys who did on a big fat manilla hemp rope. When I used to live down in Venice they've got a nice long one hanging near where the gymnastic rings with swivels are. I used to be able to go up it hand over hand... no feet.... but lol... not down it as well. :D
At the moment I'm trying to design something similar for my patio that allows me to go up a decent distance when starting off of my butt. Ideally a chin up bar set up that I can run rings off of as well and a manila rope with a big d-ring on it... and maybe even a Bachar ladder We'll see... I wonder if the neighbors will freak when they see it being put up.:D

No plyometrics, but great upper body strength there.
