Hi bubabeechuma, and welcome to the forums. I can't think of anything that needs special consideration. Soemthing you can move easily in, that isn't too tight but isn't so big you would go swimming in it. Hope this helps!

Here's a similiar line of advice : http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6915

Wear comfortable training clothes, preferably with long pants... like sweat pants with a teeshirt. Eventually you'll get a uniform.

Basically bring an open mind and do what the instructor tells you. If you have questions, ask them after class if possible. Be prepared to work hard, feel uncoordinated, and feel like your body won't do what you want it to do. It'll get easier soon. Good training!

Ok thanks...I will take in whatever comes. I have done some sparring with a friend that is experienced in martial arts so I know what it is like to feel uncoordinated already lol.

Be humble to your teachers and peers, anything they teach has a reason behind it. Do question if you must, but do not doubt with words.
