Alreet all,

Sorry if I've missed relevant threads/posts about this very topic, but as you are probably aware I'm not too active in this section of MAP (thanks to being pretty dense with regards to H&F stuff).

Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations for stretching books?

I've seen Kurtz's book mentioned but then not exactly get rave reviews in this thread (http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69225) so I'm unsure about that one.

The stretching I'm hoping to be doing is mainly to increase my flexibility a bit and I'm not one of those who wants to be able to do the splits just to say he can. Being away from my home MA club, I'd rather have a general stretching book giving me advise on how to stretch properly and telling me what exactly I'm doing rather than having things go PING! due to not doing stuff right.

So, any suggestions?

Anth.

The kurz book. I got it recently, and it's great. Contains everything you need to know.
Apart from that, maybe 'yoga for you'? I learned a lot of cool stretches from that book.

Seconded on Kurz.
