I was sparring hard contact last night and i've got a bruised rib. I can feel it when I do a push up (sharp pain, not excruitiating, but I know it's there!) I was planning to go to the gym later today, just wondering if it's sensible or not?

if there is pain , it's sensible to give it time to heal. test it

Yeh, it's pretty damn sore today a few days in, so i'm going to take it easy. Luckily with xmas coming up the gym/club is closed so i don't feel too much like i'm slacking. Huzzah!

The best way to get a bruise to heal is to help circulation! I agree with you taking it easy, bruised ribs are no fun
