Hey, wasn't sure if this would get a better response in the BJJ or MMA sub-forum. So, I just picked one.
Anyways, I just had a lengthy discussion on bullshido about a novel I'm working on. The short version is that I'm trying to pitch a novel in April that's a compilation of short stories about MMA and other combat sports tied together by a main plot. I laid out all the short stories for the initial pitch, recently, and felt that there was something missing.
Long story short, I decided I'd like to show something about homosexuals training in combat sports. If/how it effects the training experience or the social experience that sometimes comes from training with people. That sort of thing.
I was wondering if anyone was or knew any homosexuals who train in combat sports and are willing to interview on the subject. Interviews will be held in confidence. Probably by e-mail since I can't PM. While some of the short stories are direct accounts of events, most of them are fictionalized combinations of related stories I've collected from people who train.
If you're willing to help, please e-mail me at peterlampasona@gmail.com
Thank you for your time.
