Are the schools good? Do they teach real Kung Fu? How come they don't compete?

Yes, whether they compete or not really is the yardstick to measure the quality of a MA school

Unfortunately we have a double tragedy here. Firstly to the Kung-Fu community and secondly to Ed Parkers Kenpo people. I highly doubt that it is even Ed Parkers system as I have been a 20 plus year member and now a fifth degree black belt in the IKKA of which parker founded and there are no sword forms, nor have there ever been sword forms taught or required by the International Kenpo Karate Association.
Kempo/Kenpo as Parker designed did have an origination from the Temples. It can from the Yoshida Clan in Japan and was brought tot he US Territories by a James Masayoshi Mitose.
I am glad that frauds are being exposed and I only wish a lot of these American Karate instructors without black belts could also be exposed.
