Has anybody got any home training methods for faster movements with your hands/whole arm department. Such as fast punches and so on.

Getting your hands or feet to move faster. I recomend trying some wrist weights or ankle weights or both. start shadow boxing the weights should only be about 1 or 2 pounds max just enough to provide a little resistance but yet allow your arms and legs to move freely. Try this about 3 or 4 times a week for about month you don't necessairly need to spar you can also try doing your forms with the weights on. Then when you use your hands and/or feet with out the weights you should feel the difference.

Learn to relax. It will increase your acceleration dramatically - as well as your tactile awareness.

Proper relaxation is one of the hardest things to develop and, in my opinion, one of the most essential aspects of martial arts training.

as has already been said, do NOT use HEAVY wrist/ankle weights. they cause more harm than good
