Well actually that's not true. It's really just Judo but with really crappy throws and takedowns! If it wasn't for the soft mats, a good Judo player would kill any BJJ guy in a fight.

In a fight on a hard floor, if your wearing a Gi, and they dont stuff up their throws so you can get a body lock on them, and you havnt dont any greco or Thai experince, and if you have no experience of decent jumping guard.

Thats a lot of ifs..............

judo is way cool though, its like BJJ with decent stand up, poor to good groundwork and much cheaper and widespread.

You couldn't pay me to fight an experienced Judo-ka on concrete. I'm far too fond of the way my skeleton fits together.

KempoFist, it's not just Judo. It's BRAZILIAN JUDO, or BJ for short. Incidentally, I hear you have a blue belt. You must have done the BJ on tonnes of guys.
