From what ive gathered, i thought a "clean" was standing up, bar in hands and cleaning it to your shoulders.
I thought a power clean was like a clean, but with a deadlift added in and the bar starting on the floor.
I now realised i was mistaken, and a clean was from the floor, and the latter called a hang clean.
So what the bloody hell is a power clean.....and in WS4SB it says to do it seated, how are you supposed to do it seated if it starts from the floor.
Confusion.

Completely unrelated....but again....Olympic squats.
Whats the difference between a squat, an ATG squat and an olympic squat.

Power clean and Clean are both from the floor you just don't dip down as much in the power clean.
In a Clean you will end up in the bottom of a front squat, like the video below.

In a Power Clean you take dip down less and ely more on raw power.

As for the second part of your question Olympic Squats are a back squat that uses a closer stance to mimic the stance that you will be in when you Clean. In it you go ATG (ass to grass incase your unfimiliar with what it means). When people say squat they are usually referring to the back squat which could mean an olympic atg squat or a powerlifting oriented squat. Basically all 3 terms you mentioned could mean the same thing.
Here is a very good article on Olympic(ATG) and Powerlifting Squats.

Looks more like a cuban press than a power clean.

That looks more like a DB snatch.
And why is he shrugging his shoulders right before.
Sorry about the questions, but it seems to me the seated power clean has no resemblance to a standing one.
