Hi all,
A rather strange request, but hopefully someone on here can help me out.
I am heading off to Korea in about 8-10 months to teach english as a foreign language. I would love to have some knowledge of the language, so I wasn't walking around showing people pictures or trying to make them understand my mimes!!
If anyone knows of any decent courses in the North West area (preferably evening/weekend) or would be willing to offer private tuition, or even has some tips for good resources that would let me teach myself a bit, it would all be much appreciated!
Maybe out there in MAP-land there is even some happy Korean person, who is maybe having issues with the English language and would be willing to exchange a little know-how and skills (I am suitably qualified, degree educated, and four years teaching English in the UK), please drop me a line and let me know!! It will all be good practice for Korea!!
Thanks guys n gals.
:D

Find a local Korean church.
They often offer language courses.
