When I watch martial arts scenes in films, I love the ones that have the most kicks. I'm not too bothered with all the blocking or punching stuff.

So which fighting scene has got the best kicks or most kicks in it?

The only one I can think of is the end fighting scene in 'No Retreat No Surrender' (with van damme).

LoL.. Van Damme? Guess we all have different taste. Anyway I can name a lot of movies, but there all made from the same people, so look for Donnie Yen's movie. His kicking style is flawless. This is his homepage check it out. http://www.donnieyen.com/

bruce lee in "enter the dragon" in the final finale where he takes out about 15 guys using "only" kicks.
One of my personal fave fight takes

Yeah what 'Totakaos' said, watch Jackie Chan's 'Who I'm I', there's an awesome scene at the end on the roof top. Jackie Chan fights some white guy who specifically kicks! and they're very good! His legs fly independantly from his body!??! :D

i would have to go with the final fight scene with in drunken master 2:the legend of the drunken master its insane when the last boss holds up his leg while taking off his glasses "drunken boxing. how bout it?"

Most of the film Ong Bak. But in particular watch the "sub" fight that takes place in the club between Ting and "Sideshow Kung Fu/TKD man" (that's reference to his hair). It's a pretty complex fight that features great leg checking and some interesting counter kicks. Plus it has one of the best "hands set up kick" sequences I've seen ever.

I would have to agree with the legend of the drunken master. The final fight was the best fight i have seen using mostly kicks.

It was number 3, intro of Club Foot aka 7 Phantom Kicks. Guy is the head rickshaw puller so his legs are super-powered and he goes around jumping, running up walls and generally doing some crazy kicks.

I like the fight between Chan and Allan in "Gorgeous" :) Amazing how Mr. Allan wasn't wearing wires when he did those kicks!

If the movie you speak of involved a dolphin and a thousand messages in a thousand bottles, then you're probably right :)

Oh, and was the fight full of this? :):):)

I would say any movie staring Hwang Jang Lee, do a search on him. he is in many early jackie chan films and as he studied TKD his kicks are amazing, he uses his legs as mose people use their hands. you won't be dissapointed

bruce lee, when he is in the tournament, i think he does a roundhouse or a kick to the guy with the scar. kinda wicked. probably one of my fav scenes from any movie and my fav fight scene. that guy just deserved it and lee gave it to him.

*******s probably still raped his sister after she killed herself

-I admit to being biased and usually avoid martial arts movies, but I think Ernie Reyes,Jr.'s fight with "the Rock"(Dwayne Johnson) in the movie THE RUNDOWN has to be at the top of the list. The actual fight and kicking scenes were done w/o wires or any camera tricks.

im surprised no one has mentioned the two white guys in kiss of the dragon with jet li there style isnt so perfect but you can see a lot of power in the attacks cause these two guys were very serious about their movie. they use all kicks except when blocking and the huge guy grabs jet and punches him so hard in the face he slides back (not real but nonetheless cool)
or the cradle to the grave where jet beats up a guy using mostly his legs with his hand in his pocket

but i have to admit legend of drunken master where he fights the guy who does the splits standing on one leg was awesome, the best i can remember

i saw that movie on fox last night and since it was wushu i was ondering her this isnt that fancy and unpractical then they really got started. dont really see why saumersaulting is better then moving out of the way while keeping your balance.

Hapkido grandmaster Wong In-Sik has a few good kicks in Young Master.

"Superkicker' Benny Lai in Police Sotry 2. The dvd has an interview and footage of the guy if your intrested.

Hwang Jang Lee in Drunken Master. Kicking showcase on the dvd too.

Some interesting choices...with regards to who am I, the guy who did the kicks wasn't that great a stuntman and they had to use a wooden leg for some of the scenes!! (One where Jackie is by edge of building crouching by ventilator shaft, you can only see leg, the guy kicks high over it then low.)
But he does have good kicks!!
there is also a JC film where Im sure he fights Benny the Jet...
For the best single kick, it has to go to Mark Dacascos in the film where he plays CIA assassin-turned priest-turned assassin again for revenge etc...These two punks nicked his friends jacket earlier in the film and beat on him, he does nothing. He sees them again later in the film and says, 'I tell you what, Ill give you one chance to give me the jacket, and Ill let you go.' The punks laugh, and move in. As they take their first step, he sweeps one roundhouse which takes both of them out, whilst picking the jacket up before it hits the floor, and then just walks off - absolutely beautiful....Its just pure martial art poetry!
