Week 1
Monday- Max pushups, Max squats (with 45 lbs. barbell)
Tuesday-Tabata medicine ball(15 lbs.) slams, Tabata pullups.
Friday- 50 second jog with 10 seconds sprint on each minute I run, Max medicine ball throws in one minute, muscle ups, dips.
Week 2
Monday- Tabata pushups, tabata squats (with 45 lbs. barbell)
Tuesday- Max pull ups, max medicine ball (15 lbs.) slams in one minute
Friday- deadlifts, clean and press, 1 armed dumbell benchpress, 1 legged squats, handstand pushups.
Yeah.. I know I just had a fairly sound routine posted up but it was a little complicated. And although I thoroughly understood my program, I got a little caught up in the numbers and I became a bit obsessed with them. I believe I posted it as "A ROUTINE OF INCREASE!" Correct me if I'm wrong on that. I think this one is a lot more solid and much less complicated and not to mention it's also easier for me to stick to. I will enjoy this one very much!
P.S. Is this too much, or are there random excercises you think I should remove or replace with another? Is it good, bad, or what?.. I need your opinions because I are a noob! :p
Thanks!

Are you working out alone? Are you working out at home with limited equipment? What equipment do you have access to?

Yes I workout alone accept when I do tabatas outside with the medicine ball slams. I usually just have my brother tell me when to start and stop. I have a olympic barbell with about 300 or more lbs. of weight. I do pullups at a elementary school's playground when school gets out. I have an EZ curl bar with about 110 lbs of weight and two 30lbs. dumbells and two loadable dumbells which I can put about 55lbs. on each one. I also have an ab wheel, some thick grips for the barbell, and a jump rope. Is my routine ok or should I change something?

Depends on your goals man, what are you trying to achieve?

Depends on your goals man, what are you trying to achieve? I wanna get pretty awesome.. Umm.. and a little bit of amazing would be good to.. I still wanna get my pushups and pullups up too and I also wanna get my running time up. I realize that one run every other week isn't really enough to see dramatic increase or anything. However, I am going to add one minute to each run so I can see gradual but certain increase with it. The weeks swap up from monday being a testing day with max pushups and max squats, to it becoming a building day with tabata pushups and tabata squats. The medicine ball slams have already made me a better person. And I'm enjoying the tabata humiliation. I'n short.. I'd say I wan't to become an all around type of fitness athlete, rather than training only running, or only lifting, or only calisthenics.. I want it all! I plan on getting back into MA soon. I'll be heading to grappling classes on saturday. Do you see anything you'd like to change? Thanks sick..

sounds like my goals. i've actually started running for endurance and ocassional HIIT sprints for speed(not too often as i sprint for about 2-3 hrs every sunday), tabatas, been goin 3 rounds as intervals(which is alot of fun), and doing powerlifting about twice a week(always has been great stress reliever and fun for me).
and i am starting judo ASAP. i've got everything taken care of and enrolled, but the schedule is crazy this week.

Good god man, your goals fluctuate as much as mine from month to month...
I hope you havent forgot about Stew Smith in case you still trying to get into "Marine" shape:

With the stuff you're doing now I'd just go ahead and stick to it for atleast a month and see if the grappling will cause you to overtrain or not. Remember the KISS principle (Keep It Simple Stupid).
Hope this helps some...

Coming back in late-
But I really don't think you have enough real intensity or volume to incite anything but perhaps some sort of conditioning.

tabatas are viciously intense, especially with the added weight to the squats! Conditioning is fine with me! That is mostly what I'm going for this time around. :p

On Monday, instead of max squats with 45 lb bar, I might work up to a heavy triple or at least a 5X5 and pair it with chain push ups.

hmmm.. I had considered that. Thanks for your input. What exactly are chain pushups?

I'm back on monday for week one so I'll try to front squat heavier this time around instead of trying to max out my reps with 45lbs.. Just for you blessed! :p I can't wait to get home! :D
