The title is the question. I've sent the ingredients of the Extreme version to my doctor also. I intend to take half a capsule before the workout and half afterwards. Discuss?

Prophet says: "I see no problem with that."

Sending the ingredient list to your doc was a smart move. If he oks it and you don't have any adverse reactions I say why not. I don't use suppliments like that, but more for a general distrust of the industry and a shortage of money then for any real reasons.

Good luck.

Discus? Okay then. I'm a stickler for rules, and it says not for use under 18. And you're under 18. So that's a no-go right off the bat.

The doctor will most likely say similar, and may add in some of the general supplement-hate that general practioners are prone to do.

It's impossible to take half a capsule of Hot-Rox. There's some funky white goo inside. Maybe you meant half a serving or one capsule. Either way, I'd suggest not.

Get your training and nutrition 100% spot-on, get enough protein, get your PWO drink, and stick with it like that for a while.

How close are you to your goals, and how long have you been training towards them? What results have you seen so far?

My goals are both weight loss and muscle gain. Obviously this is very hard to simultaneously, so I've been generally doing this for maybe 3 years or so, switching between the two, on and off. I managed to lose a lot of weight, I was once noticably fat and now I would be called average or so. I do, however, still have a gut, which I could never ever get rid of.

have you tried doing tabata and hiit? since i've been doing those 2 things like once or twice a week(i read a post that you don't wanna do much more than that cuz it has a huge impact on CNS, so i dropped down) and my gut is basically melting off.

Nazikiller, it's not appropriate or necessary for you to take HotRox. Get your diet straight and wait a while. The reason it says "Not Under 18" is that the stuff in the capsules are essentially unregulated. It's a risk to take a thermogenic for anyone, but imho it is especially risky for someone who is still developing.

FYI- I also think it will be a huge waste of money. HotRox only makes a difference on the margins, so unless your nutrition, exercise, and sleep routines are 110% spot-on, you won't get much out of it. If you want to lose fat/gain muscle, try having a cup of coffee before working out or mixing up your routine a bit.

No. I'm not going to repeat what everyone else has said but it is simply 1. inappropriate and 2. not even needed.
