View Full Version : Non-toxic, non-burning linament?

As part of my training for my career in Christian childrens ministries, I will be helping out at a daycare for a while. Is there any topical linament that I can use on myself (no, I don't mean on the kids) at a daycare that is safe? If they got some on them accidentaly, that wouldn't be good - most linaments are either toxic, or could burn the skin or eyes.

I almost always put a wrap/bandage over my linament to keep it from getting on something else, but here's the catch: I could still get in trouble for using potentially harmful linament even if it is wrapped/covered

I could probably get away with using something that has alcohol in it because even though it burns, it would dry immediately after I put it on me, before it could get on the kids. It's the other ingredients I have to worry about.

Are there any non-toxic, non-burning (except alcohol) kinds I could use? Please help!
(I would ask the workers there, but I really don't think they'd know)

I'm not really sure where this thread belongs, so I appologize, mods, if it needs moved.

Linament for what? Bruises, cuts, what?

I think maybe you are over-thinking this a little but I suppose only you know.

I might be overthinking it, yes. I tend to do that. Sorry if I am.

Linament for bruises and sore muscles.
