I do believe that you are confusing muay thai with something else. Muay Thai practitioners spar a lot, hence their great reputation in MA circles. Krav Maga I know nothing of.

It's not the bow & arrow - it's Robin Hood.

I'm guessing he means they seldom spar against each other.

I don't mean "Who will win the fight?" :)
I was asking what are the possiblities of moves used if a Krav Maga practitioner andf Muay Thai boxer went up against each other. So any ideas anyone?
They would punch and kick each other.
What? You want a videotape with that? :p

Krav Maga is more of a self-defense related system but does use a lot of Muay Tai techniques. However, the Muay Tai fighter will be in the best condition and does way more rounds in the ring and on the heavy bad. So in a fight or ring fight Muay Tai fighter will win.

My mummy knows Lethalo and will destroy your mummy, even if she get's run over and needs to fight from a wheelchair :D
krav maga is basically a fancy name given to some very indepth police-level self-defesne techniques developed in israel. i don't know if krav maga sparring even happens, ever

-Krav maga is a very good system for getting someone to a decent level of prep for either the streets or military combat in a very short period of time. It is more geared against untrained opponents, though in reality this is what people will generally encounter, and is not really sport oriented. It is a more complete system than MT as it teaches grappling and defenses against weapons (though having more than two decades in escrima, their knife defenses and strategy leaves one far too vulnerable against a skilled opponent, it is sufficient against the way the guy on the street would probably attack).
-As far as who would win a fight; like any other question like this, it comes down to the ability and preperation of the individual. This sometimes sounds like a PC cop-out, but in reality it is the truth. I do like the fact that both systems place a high emphasis on contact and practical application, as well as keeping things simple, yet effective.
