Unfortunately I am doomed with having very skinny wrists and forearms(darn you genetics!), so I'm wondering what exercises I can do to add some muscle and meat to those areas. Any help appreaciated!!

I too have skinny wrists/forearms. I highly recommend lifting big weights.

Your lucky because you're genetically made to be skinny. I'm made to be big, so I have large forearms. Try "wrist curls"?

I'm lucky to have skinny forearms? From my point of view it's you ;)
Should I do wrist/forearms work the same day as my 5X5 program or on off days? I have tried some wrist stuff and they don't seem to work well. Would sledgehammer workouts be any good?(any links?). Should I get myself a 'powerball'(are they any good?) or a wrist roller?

Try things like deadlift holds, or farmers walks. Also, you could try towel pullups. Or plate pinching.
