This is really pissing me off. I have a skinny upper body and a fat lower body. I have been trying to bulk up for along time now and the only thing that happens is that it all goes to my legs and butt. How do I make my upperbody gain weight more than my butt? Also, how do I lose weight in my butt besides squats?

If you want to gain more upper body mass, the best thing would be to weight train your upper body.

If your complaining that your body stores more body fat in your lower body all I can tell you is "tough". Your problem is genetics, your body stores fat in it's own way, there's not much you can do about it besides just losing the fat and replacing it with muscle.

Oh, and it is impossible to lose fat in one specific area of your body, you need to either lower your body fat ratio or get it surgically removed. Dem's tha breaks.

So what can I do that will help me loose weight?

Cardio exercises like jogging and swimming combined with proper diet should take away the weight. You might want to incorporate some weight training as well, but I wouldn't do that to begin with. For starters just run the track for 20 minutes a day and don't binge of food.

Beyond that all you need is motivation, and you're on your own on that problem.

The equation to weight loss is simple:

Calories consumed per day-Calories spent per day

If you come out with more calories consumed than spent you will gain weight, if it comes out more calories spent you'll lose weight. It's simple.
