Hey,

I just had one of those rare occasions where I got an Idea.

Maybe it's been talked about here before.

I was thinking about a 'Buy and Sell' section on the forum. Where members can post something that they are trying to get rid of, or maybe looking for.

Like recently I may have had some computer parts that I don't need anymore, or I may be after something. Someone may be after such an item. One could post an Item in the section, and some who is interested can reply.

Now, I can see how security etc. could be an issue. So maybe only the more senior, trusted members could read and post in the section? Or perhaps (even better) only 'select' members could read and post?

Topic rules/disclaimer will mention that MAP cannot be held resonsable for items being sold. No illegal items, pirate items etc.
Anyone caught sell such item will be banned etc....

Anyways, I'll leave it in your hands. If something goes ahead I'd be happy help with any ideas on it etc.

Thanks

Lay off him I Rule, he's just suggesting an idea for improving the site. I happen to think its a good one.

Its called contributing to a community. Maybe when you've been here a bit longer you'll understand that.

Yup the whole point of a place like this is that you get to know the members and it is like dealing with friends not buying mince from someone you don't even know

Works for me, I'd rather sell something to a "friend" from the board here than some stranger from who knows where. I may be naive, but I'd trust someone from here than an ebay bidder...
How about if we're looking for something used, maybe someone here could help us out with some of their old stuff they don't use anymore.
