In that case, I may as well plug the MAP affiliate link for MP http://www.myprotein.co.uk/index.cfm?inCode=4256-59 :D

holland and barrett supplements are a serious waste guys ;)

It sounds a bargain for what is displayed on the label but it will not help you in your training as much as you think it would. H&B uses the cheapest quality powders and additives to be able to sell it at its usual 50% off price.

i used their creatine for a good year as a teen, i switched to dorian yates Chemical nutition brand and it felt like i was on rocket fuel during my workouts.

i used their protein when i had little cash but i nearly gagged over the amount of sugar/sweetners they put in it, plus the protein count per serving is poor.

myprotein.co.uk
sncdirect.co.uk

the places i stick to for good products at fair prices.

you get what you pay for ;)

i use My Protein unflavoured whey now as i don't like all the crap they put in flavoured stuff. My last lot was on promotion too, 5kg for £23 delivered!

It's slightly less actually, just read the label and it says 10lbs (4.54kg) Still a bargain though. I think the offer has changed now though.

Mine was for NZ Whey, they now stock Euro Whey and it;s about £32 with free delivery.

Go to their price matcher and type in www.sports-nutrition.net to get the offer

yeah i have used that link a fair few times. The websites i help run have bought me a few tubs of protein tubs through using my code too

not bad trade off, help in return for protein :)

That's probably why the price went up, lol. That link has been thrown around so many forums!

Whey is full of estrogen, I quit using it because of that reason.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whey_protein

Instead I now use the vegan protein that is from rice, good stuff.

I make a protein drink a day and of course eat meats and other protein items to get my 100 + a day of protein. I still eat eggs a lot also.

I'd recommend a blood panel regarding your hormone count and see where you are, if you use a lot of whey.

Never knew about the estrogen!

I only have 1 a day anyway with my porridge as i can't be arsed to cook meat/eggs etc at 6 in the morning.

Actually, where does it say that? Are you thinking of Soya?

I've never heard of this, and the wiki you quoted doesn't mention it either (unless I missed it). Do you have a link to any articles that go into this in detail? (Or could you point out where in the wiki I missed it.)

Cheers.

Spirez, you've been here long enough to know about MAPs no-swearing policy. That's the second time today you've done it. Admittedly, the swear filter caught it, but please don't do it again.

Thanks.

Whey doesn't have estrogen in it. Soy protein has isoflavones which improve estrogen metabolism, but I have never seen an unbiased site which makes the claim of estrogen in whey.

my post was deleted for pointing out your lack of research skills, something about calling it a load of....... (yeah the word i have omitted is what probably caused its deletion).
