I have not posted here in a while, anyway has anyone (mostly in the UK) had an injury that just took so long to heal that they went crazy or just got...really sad.

I am so fed up, my knee (I'm sick of it) gave way in training last year, I thought it was about time I got to the bottom of it had physio then was refered to an orthapedic unit...I have since then been waiting 8 millions years for my MRI results, I am getting so anxious I just want to flippin know whether I have to have key hole surgery or just more physio, which means if I have surgery then I have to wait anouther billion years!

I want to train again, I also have not finished my gym course due to this. I just want to know whether anyone else has a simlar tale and did they come out of it ok and happy?

I've had similar feeling but from less severe injuries. Maybe the seriousness of my situations can't match yours but I've had similar feelings.

I've strained my back thrice and twisted my ankle twice. Each time I got really blue.

It's just that one gets used to the activity and the endorphins from exercise is also lost when you get injured.

But don't worry when you recover and get back into it you'll feel fine once again.
