Look for a Karate school. Okinawan?

They should should be doing Nunchaku.

The only store I know is in Tamarac. Fl/ it is called Pro Karate and Boxing supply. They are pretty well stocked.
TO my knowledge there is no such thing as a "nunchaku school". Nuchaku is part of kubudo that is taught in association with a lot of different Karate styles, predominantly those from Okinawa. In my ryu, the nunchaku is one of the most revered and respected weapons. It is taught only to students who have reached the brown belt rank, because it is felt that under this rank karateka do not yet have the fundimentals of martial arts neccessary to really understand the weapon. If you are interested check out this web site, as you may find a dojo of ours close enough to Miami for you. www.wildcatdojo.com

Quite ironically, its the second weapon we use - at 10th Kyu. Saying that I do pure Kobudo, not one mixed with an Okinawan form of karate.

And also highly illegal to use on the street, whether you know how to use them properly or not.

Using nunchucks on another person can land you up with a charge of Assault with a deadly weapon, not to mention other charges if you end up seriously hurting the other person.

Their illegal to smack someone around with anywere their is a "real" Law (meaning go right ahead in some third world countries where the Govn't thinks your doing them a favor by beating it's citizens).

And for the schools: Nunchucks are one of (if not the) only MA weapons/styles you can learn with some proficiency alone.
