What would you say would make the ultimate fighting game?
This is my opinion
graphics aspect: First of all, very diverse levels. This has to be the thing that I liked the most in Dead or Alive 3...the levels were no less than breathtaking the first time I played it. Up that a notch though...have walls dent when players are smashed into them, the floors crack, and have objects that interact without being shattered: chairs and desks that move when you throw someone over them and stuff.
Also, blood is key I think...it adds a sense of power to a game. Make the blood not excessive, but enough that you can see it, and make it stick to walls and things. Also, make the fighter's uniforms tear and get stained as they fight.
Real time lighting and rag doll physics:picture this: have a hanging light fixture that you can throw your opponant in to, knocking off one of the wires holding it up as the light falls to the ground, casting shadows everywhere.
gameplay:Lots of modes, lots of unlockables (characters, costumes etcetera). A long story mode (similar to SC2 perhaps), though personally I dislike the weapons aspect. Customizable fighers perhaps...mix and match their head and body and such similar to NHL Hitz.
That's all that I can think of at the time.
