Any source on that?
With Pride and UFC owned by the same people now, we can expect to see a lot of talent switching rosters and so on. Noguiera's done everything he can in Pride, he's never beating Fedor, so he may as well try out the different environment. I hope they got him a thorough medical before signing him though; if the rumours of his visual impairment are true, he'll never be fighting in a sanctioned US bout

Source = ufc69. He was announced in between fights and walked up and was introduced by White.

I heard Fedor re-signed with Pride.

Last I heard (from an interview with him) he had not YET re-signed with PRIDE, although he didn't indicate that he would be leaving either.

They'd have to have Fedor vs. Mirko 2 first.

Not really sure why they are doing this, perhaps it lends credence to Fedor not having a Pride/UFC contract?
It is kind of annoying that they seem to be "looting" Pride, but at least this seems to prove that Big Nog is not blind...

Couldn't it also lend credence to Big Nog believing he doesn't have a shot against Fedor and figure it's time to move on?

Rodrigo Nogueira has been a broken man since Fedor... broke his face.

With Fedor's future still up in the air, it's honestly questionable.
No news on Fedor going to Bodog, or Pride, or maybe going on a fight by fight basis.

For being a broken man, he sure handled Josh Barnett well--twice.

I doubt that, I don't think Big Nog can beat Fedor but everything about Big Nog screams "Warrior"...I think he would love to face Fedor, if he loses again I think he will be even more motivated...
I think this is the UFC trying to bolster their division, they need more good heavyweights and Big Nog is a top 3 heavyweight...he will win or lose become a fan favorite with his cement skull and ability to keep a fight exciting for 3 rounds

His face seems fine to me...even if it is broken he has done a nice job of being the 3rd best heavyweight in the world...
