By my take on that i would say that's a name more than a style.
Shifu is another way of spelling sifu.and Yan Xin looks like a name to me.
So i think what you have is Sifu Yan Xin and not a style.

why don't you go to a class and ask
http://www.google.com/search?q=%22Sifu+Yan+Xin%22&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&filter=0 - A list of links on the person SIFU Yan Xin
http://www.shaolintemplekungfu.com/menu.htm - The main website of the style SHIFU Yan Xin. Its the right one, its got your area listed in the timetable. Read the About Us page, and download some of the video clips.

There's a picture of Sifu Yan Xin on this page when he was at Seni 2003. Its the last image (see the other stuff... crazy!?)
I've never been to Seni, but doesn't the fact that his art was demonstrated there pretty much rules out McDojo, I'd think (yes, I may be wrong!).
Plus the first few lessons are free, until you decide you like it. If its expensive, or just not your thing, you can walk away.
It seems OK to me, if CMA/Kung Fu is what your looking for, which it must be, or you wouldn't have posted now would you? ;)
Let us know how you get on in the class.

the sites seem quite good too me. You'll never truely know unless you take the plunge and yes it is a big step going for the first time but i'm sure the won't bite(well not that hard anyway :)). but only you can decide if its good for you
