That's certainly an interesting match. Gary's standup's very solid (he's been UK K-1 champion a few times) and seems to know the ground game a fair bit too. If he can get it out of the first round, he can probably beat Sapp by Sapp's own legendary lack of gas, but I think Sapp's just going to be too damned big for him

Sounds good.

Would this be shown live anywhere in UK? (Channel?)

I believe the whole Cage Rage card will be live on Sky Sports.

Gary has a ton of experience in different fields for this - but Bob is a big bad man.

I haven't seen Bob Sapp fight for a long time. Is he any good? Has he improved?

He's improved a bit, but basically he is still an express train - 160kg of muscular bad man!

Bob Sapp is going to prove to much for Turner....too big and too strong.

What is most interesting is that Bob Sapp wasn't picked up by a bigger organization..

I'm certainly surprised he is fighting over here. Would love to watch it live in person.

I have heard Gary had an easy ride through K1 due to links between his managment & the UK K1 orginisers. But as it was from a losing camp the infomation might be B/S. Does anyone know of a link?

I can promise you Gary has had anything but an easy ride with K1 and has spread his wings beyond the UK scene (in fact he has fought mostly outside the UK in recent years)
He's had wins over Carter Williams, Azem Matsujac, Gregory Tony etc., finalist in K1 Scandinavia etc. He's at www.teamgaryturner.com

So Buzz Berry had a change of heart then... Good thing after his pasting at MMA Total Combat 19

Where abouts is the fight going to be? Having trained with Gary before, I'd love to see him fight.
