That movie totally rocks!! Ong Bak's fighting moves are totally way cool, but i have to ask this. Is his fighting style Thai Boxing ? I'm really curious :) because i was totally mesmerized by him and truly wanna learn his style. :)

I wanted to say I just finished watching Ong-Bak and I thought it was outstanding. No wonder they picked this Phanom Yeerum as the stunt double for Robin Shou in Mortal Kombat 2: Annihilation.
Well done, jaw-dropping action, but the little girl was annoying as hell. We see the whole gamut, all facets of muay Boran, muay Kaad Cheuk, ma mai/luk mai, krabi-krabong weaponry, acrobatic leaps, ling lom, dazzling 720 degree kicks and plenty of flying/dropping knees and elbows to make your testicles run for cover. You even get to see Phanom clobber his opponents with the Mae Sun Sowks! Oh and he flies around without wireworks mind you. Superb. Jackie Chan and Jet Li - eat Phanom's dust.

The plot is simple but the action justifies it all.
if you're a fan of muay Thai, esp. old school Muay Thai, you'll appreciate this movie. It has enough to dazzle even the most casual observer. Enjoy.
There is also another recent movie called "Beautiful Boxer" about the real life story of Parinya “Nong Toom” Charoenpol - the famous transvestite "lady boy" boxer. It's no Ong-Bak but interesting to watch nevertheless.
