I used to be a very doubtful fan of silat becuase no one gave me enough adequate info on it, I thought it was just a silly ruse, until I found out how to look for it. And it so happens that my art pencak silat mande muda happens to be taught in my very own hometown of st. louie!! I read upon on it and not only is it beutiful, but deadly , and extremely effective and mystical on the streets, I luv it! But one question is there any thing I need to know or should know about this art before I join?? This art I think is one of the best defensive hard style arts in the world, and if somone disagrees with me we need to talk.

I am also finna take up muay thai crossed trained with boxing, and Jeet Kune Do, and Filipino Martial arts, do you think these arts complememnt each other??

Answer to question, yes they complement one another very well.

I personnally would go with FMA, and MM.

You're lucky to find a class in your home town!

I'd stick to just the one, or maybe a max of two to start with. If I studied 4 at once I'd probably end up doing all the wrong stuff at each class :D
