MAP Sin Bin!

I'm toying with the idea of a MAP Sin Bin for members who won't take a hint from the mods, and carry on the way they want.

A bit like medeival stocks, where they can be helplessly imprisoned, and pelted with rotten eggs and tomatoes.

A thread about them, that they are unable to reply to, while everyone else they've upset get's a chance to give them a thrashing.

It's either that, or a misbehaving member get's their username changed for a month, to 'Dunce', 'Village Idiot' or 'Nancy' perhaps.
What do you think?

yeah, sounds good, but instead of the medeival stocks, use the bird cage where they only have enough room to stand - until they die and then the vultures can come and eat there avatar

I love it! Bit radical, but great :D Another idea... change their avatar to something lame, like a fairy or a member of the Tweenies :D

We could do the same to banned trolls.. change their avatar and usernames to something else :)

Yeha, and in the banned dudes the title should be changed to "moderated/owned by Andy/Yoda/KG/KC whoever it was :D

if yes then i feel this idea is an infringment on our pasic rights as human beings to express our ideas in a contempt free enviroment without fear of harassment or retribution

I say that a "Death Row"TM ;) is set up. Mods put scallywags on death row and this limits thier posting per day??? (is that possible, reduce them to one post a day??? or something similar?)

Members can vote to take people off Death Row.

"Inmates" are voted off DR by forum members each month. The number of members voting relates to the crime.

Perhaps SIN BIN is less morbid though. :D

Members in the SIN BIN can be released on thier own by posting something helpfull or insightfull themselves but need nomination from forum members :D

Other than that high time I saw........ just be carefull about turning it into something which is seen as a badger of honour or we might get some pesky martys!! :D

Look, it's perfectly simple: members get owned by mods. The supermod rips out the guts of anyone foolish enough to offend her. Mods are mistreated by admin, all the way up to the lord god who owns this site ;)
