Hi there, I've recently moved to Nottingham and I was wondering if anyone out there knows of any kung fu school in the area. Thanks. ;)

Phil Mead (6th Dan) who began his KF training in 1957 is in Nottingham, I don't have an address but his contact number is 0115 970 2877. Check him out!

Hi Chimpcheng....
It's called Chi'ang Shou Fa, it has traditional forms & weapons training. I studied under one of his black belt students here in Scotland from the mid-eighties until very recently (I am now involved in researching Western Martial Arts).....
I have trained with Phil a number of times, he's down to earth & deadly :)

Sifu Larry Tuck teaches out of the Joint-Effort fitness club in Beeston. He teaches Wing Chun, Yang style Tai Chi & Kick-boxing.

Ok naruto_clf own up. Is that you Jerry? I don't know anyone else who does CLF and Vale Tudo who knows our Leicester connection!

I've found wushu with the university, Jeet Kune Do and there are a few wing chun. However, there's a couple of school wot do grappling so I might gotta go take a look and see whatsup.

I suppose some one has to go to Nottingham might as well be you tha naas,
and a few more things.
· Wushu is crap
· JKD like any other M.A. depends on the teacher
and I know it not part of the thread but why on earth did Taratino give that big dancing fairy Carradine a part in Kill Bill.
