I asked this in a chat session, but nobody seemed to know anything definitive. Although drunken fist is a popular style in cinema and video games, I've never seen a kwoon that actually teaches it. Not even a McDojo. You'd think somebody out there would leap on a market like this.
Is the style much less effective than it looks? Is there a drunken mafia that forces instructors to pay protection money, or be "taken for a ride" and drowned in a vat of everclear? What's the story?

khafra,

sorry we didnt get to grips seriously with your enquiry last night. Here is some info that might help (although you might already know all this...)

Books:

The Drunkard Kung Fu and its Application by Dr. Leung Ting

Zuijiuquan: A Drunkard’s Boxing by Cai Longyun & Shao Shanking

websites:

hope these help. There are probably more but these are the ones I know of.

Thanks, that's more links than I've found... But fairly minimalist pages, still sparse enough on the information to support the premise behind my question. Oddness.
