Well it certainly isn't Catholism.. they don't believe in using 'hats' ;)

and of course there are as many different Turbans in the world as there are shades of skin color... but it's pretty much associated with Hindu's and Muslims... it's ubiquitous from Hindustan to Afghanistan and Waziristan to Baluchistan... so it's gets a cameo here... :D
