Which group or sub-forum on MAP do you think have the best debaters, the most circular arguments, the most long-winded discussions, the most numerous never-ending vs. fights, the most fascinating lineage disputes, the most in-depth dialogue....

Ok, so you get the idea? Now vote!

Lets keep it tongue-in-cheek people, no malice, no bashing okay?

The computing section, and the "I don't need Antivirus/firewall" debates.

I always enjoy those :)

Non of thoes even compare to some of the debating of old, when we had all the old trolls around. BL's threads always turned out into a world war 3 of flaming.

I cant really vote, all thoes threads are new ones that I havent really posted in and so not going back and reading them.

Well, the ninjutsu forum is always good some zany--and I mean zany--people posting some psychosis or other about their prowess, teacher/lineage, magic, skills, etc. What I love even more is how the guys, and ladies, of the ninjutsu forum handle it. They usually shut the posers down pretty handily, though said posers usually give them plenty of ammunition.

The religion forum gets plenty of hot debate, but those aren't usually as interesting as the poser skewerings on the ninjutsu forum.

Of course, in my opinion, the thread of all time involved the infamous ManabiMashoMan.

paz,

p.s.: RedShinobi gets an honorable mention.

creationism v. evolution debates on the Religious forum where very entertaning.
They made me feel big and cleaver. 'any christian please explain' was classic

Most of the stuff in religion could easily count...
You have that anti-religion crowd chomping at the bit here... only with all their vitriol they do better adverstising for religion than against it. Smooth fella's... real smooth. :D
That they're often headed up by a kid who was caught red handed telling fish stories about winning a videogame competition trophy that didn't even exist..
makes them a total classic! :D

A great example of what happens when some peoples college level logic classes go to their head. :p

The Israel-Lebanon thread is another... classic. It's becomea microcosm of the middle east without a doubt. And people wonder why their will never be peace in the middle east... ha... all they had to do was come study our Israel-Leb thread to figure that one out.

Appearing soon on MAP... Condoleeza Rice. :D

*sniff

Those were the days... those were the days. :D
So many of the trolls have left. The new lot isn't nearly as creative or fun.
Sigh.

I personally love the repetitive Health&Fitness questions that come up all the time  There is such a wealth of info on the forum already if anyone would care to read it.

The lineage threads are gold :D

Surely the biggies that always decend into anarchy are TMA vs MMA and forms vs no forms.

i voted for religion but Off-topic - Israel vs. Lebanon would have been a better choice.

the ninjutsu section can also be highly amusing, no need to spar, and how everyone is a fraud apart from Hatsumi :)

In my short time here, I have most enjoyed the Bujinkan "debates". These days I manage to stay out of them, though I did consider asking to be banned from that forum in the past, as I was sure I'd say something that would get me banned :D

I'm rather disappointed that the Tai Chi forum isn't included. The personal vendettas which go on over there are something else!

The Shou Shu wars were classic. For those of you that missed those awesome threads (some of which have been "removed"), they went a little like this:
Shou Shu person (hereafter referred to as SS): I'm just a blue belt in this art and I can take on six-plus opponents
Everyone else (EE from here on): Really? Wicked. How?
SS: I can. My art has all seven animals, we stop eachother's hearts in training, Da Shifu is god
EE: Yeah, cool, but HOW do you take on all these multiple opponents?
SS: Just can, blah blah blah
EE: HOW?! I'm calling BS
SS: FINE! You don't believe me, you're stupid
EE: Just tell us how you train your multiple opponent stuff
SS: You'll just have to experience it for yourself. We only have clubs in California though
Another SS person: This one time, eighteen people raided my house. I beat the crap out of all of them. Yeah, I went to hospital, but they were all injured worse
EE: Bull
SS/ ASSP: STOP FLAMING US! YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND, YOU'RE ALL IGNORANT!
*EE loses collective temper and flames them crispy while still asking how this actually works, thread gets locked*

i'll always hold a special place in my heart for uki. never have i seen a man argue so passionately about the benefits of juggling iron bars.

"to anyone who doesn't see what the effects of practicing juggling have to do with martial arts... i must honestly say... you are an idiot."

rest in peace, uki.

I must admit it just hasn't been the same round here since punisher got himself banned , those self righteous rants were always a joy to behold :p
Although he did put a brief appearance over on bullshido recently , with the expected fun results :D

But in the category of "I'm actually having lots and lots of fun with this!" there is none better. Yep. Easy vote, easy win. [Aarghh!]
