(From an Islamic poingt of view ....
That means that i am Muslim :p )
They say, that The Prophet Muhammed was known as the honest or truthful and 'he who can be entrusted'. ... Like the Noble Path requires truthfulness.
...In the Quran about "the final day" like in Buddhism(I think), Christianity, and Jewism as i know.
In other words....that about the final day. Is not just meant for comforting the fools. And that there is something that we haven't understood yet. ... About the final day.
Is there some final day? (armageddon?)

I am stuck here. .... Can you help? :D

I've not heard of a "final day" in Buddhist tradition, although being honest, I don't know a huge amount about Buddhist tradition.

Your quotation skills leave a lot to be desired. It means that you might have trouble getting a decent answer because your post is all over the place.

I assume your asking exactly what is the 'final day' according to Islam... if there is one.

Here are some links that might be of help:

http://www.islam-qa.com/

http://www.understanding-islam.com/

http://2muslims.com/directory/Discover_Islam/FAQ/index.shtml

http://www.islamanswers.net/_vti_bin/shtml.dll/search.htm

again you may find someone here that has an answer as well - though given what I've seen on this site two things come to mind:

1) There are very few muslims here

2) Many here seem to associate any form of Islam with terrorism

Those two factors here may not help you with an answer.

Hey Deepsey,

Have you discussed your question with your family or members of your religious community. I think they would be the best first point of contact.

I grew up in the tradition of the eastern religions (buddhism etc.) though I cannot recall any mention of the 'end of the world' and personally don't put much stock in it (every year people try to shove pamphlets at me declaring the end of the world is going to happen in August 1999, no wait, Jan 2001 blah blah). There are mentions of certain 'Ages' or eras and that when the world moves from one 'age' to another there will be some defining event/major shift in ideologies and thinking.

The Final Day is usally the third movie in a line of movie sequels and indicates that the 4th movie in the series will be the last one. :(

Neither is my knowledge about Buddhism huge. Therefore i said i think.
And, not exactly a final day in buddhism. .... But it was more like: (i am not sure) In the very end there will be a man coming, and he will have all the answers. ... or something like that. hm.... That do make it a final day!

Thank you

Can you then give me links that explain about that what i lack?

Not neccesarly in relation to islam. I mean this whole idea that appears to be in different religions.

I see. .... And i don't mind that people relate me or islam to terrorism.
That makes them a bad person not me. ... I don't mind. :D ...Well, i do mind a litle.

Those two factors here may not help you with an answer
Then, these shuld be removed! ...hihihi:D

Thank you very much

Hey

Have you discussed your question with your family or members of your religious community. I think they would be the best first point of contact.

I haven't discussed this with my religious comunity or members. Because they wouldn't have cooperated with me on this among other reasons.

There are mentions of certain 'Ages' or eras and that when the world moves from one 'age' to another there will be some defining event/major shift in ideologies and thinkingThat is why i seek to know for myself. I think ... :p

Thank you

If you ask Moosey nicely then I'm sure he'll draw you some pictures to graphically express the concept of Armageddon from an Islamic perspective. ;)

hihi :D
I think you are funny too.

What i mean.
"I almost never read others threads. But the ones that i start, i read them."
The thread (URL=http://www.lioncity.net/buddhism/index.php?showtopic=31047&view=findpost&p=432138) that i started
I cant afford to read everything. That messes up my mind, and everything that has to do with it.

wtf?
:bang: :bang: :bang:
I meant thank you very much for you effort. But that is to heavy for me.

If you ask Moosey nicely then I'm sure he'll draw you some pictures to graphically express the concept of Armageddon from an Islamic perspective. ;) Are you prepared to take the rersponsibility if he doesn't? :D
maybe i shuld draw you a pircture explaining what i mean? :D

I may have the real diagram-drawing Wing Chun, but I think this is beyond even my powers! :D

Too difficult for me! :D

Edit: To answer your question seriously; the Qu'ran describes the end of the world very similarly to the bible. Lots of trumpets and thunder and the earth and sky torn apart. The graves of the dead being opened and the mountains falling. Then everyone who has not paid attention to the prophets gets a good kicking.

Well....If anyone is going to answer in this thread. - They are not allowed to before reading this post.
Edit: And i do of course mean that i am very thankful for that.

The dumbest thread ever.
Someone posts asking questions.
Links are given.
The original thread starte states that he can't be arsed to bother reading any supplementary info.

Go figure.

Sorry. I didn't understand this. (I understood the words though :) )

Consider X-Men. We just had the third X-Men movie made called the Final Confrontation. They will most likely make a 4th movie.

Deepsey,
Furthermore - since you can't be bothered to read anything because it's 'too heavy' you might as well just take the X-men as gospel and be done with the Islam... in fact I heard that they were related to the prophet.

Oh wait that's right... you wouldn't have the slightest clue because you can't be arsed to read. :bang:

No wonder your religious community wouldn't entertain your nonsense. Not surprising... what did you expect conversations pertaining to the 'last day' to be? Full of little fluffy kittens frolicking in the clover?

X-men is heavy too. I saw the first movie though.
If i chose things by how heavy they are. Then i would have chosen
www.google.com :D - It is much heavier.

What Slip is saying is that he posted links the answer your question, but you decided it was too much effort to read them. Maybe you were looking for a more direct straight forward answer but no one has it. Try the links Slip gave you. You'll get more out of them than this thread to be sure! :)

I did go through them just after splits last post.
But i didn't want answers spesific to Islam (i know that already i think).
I wanted yours answers. An answer that covers this idea that different religions share.
And i don't neccesarly expect a straight answer. .... maybe a bad answer as somewhere i can start.

Edit: I am sorry that my english is bad ..... at the moment. :)

Deepsey, you're incorrect. I did answer your quesion (see my first post on this thread).

When someone passes me pamphlets/screams that the world is going to end in a blaze of fire I tell them "maybe your world is going to end, not mine".

Now for something totally unrelated - I had chocolate for breakfast at 7am today, beat that!
