What is with this guy who claims he got his black belt in BJJ in 3 1/2 months and his blue in one month, is this guy really talented or a crook for trying to sell his "blueprint" for sucess?

He's an exceptionally talented guy with a scary work ethic - definately the exception to the rule.

His blueprint is pretty good - but requires that you have the same level of dedication and work ethic that he does in order to have similar results.
