They will be fighting this Sat in Denver...who do you think is going to win?

Most think Mark because they want him to be the same ol' powerhouse, but he dropped 20 lbs...and Wes has been training like a MADMAN

On the one hand, Kerr SHOULD be able to wreck Sims based on their previous performances, but Kerr hasn't fought in a long time and looked a bit rough when I saw a recent picture of him. Honestly, I still don't see Sims taking it, but I wouldn't be too shocked if he did, I'd just be upset since Kerr is one of my all time favourite fighters.
I've never done this before and I'll never do it again (due to Sherdog vernacular being all kinds of lame) but....

WAR SMASHING MACHINE!!!one!!eleven

lol!
I have no idea what that means...but go mark! That's basically what it means :) sherdog.com have all kinds of in-jokes, "War X-fighter" being one of the ones that's migrated to other forums. As a rule, I try to avoid using them, but in this case, it's Mark Kerr! :D

Bah, that sucks! Any ideas what the injury is and if the fight's being rescheduled since you're our resident AFC insider? :)

Honestly, I sincerly doubt Mark is going to fight for us.

Let me break it down, I am going to be brutally honest.

Mark was dead broke, we gave him a chance. Gave him a new start, set him up in a ouse and really tried to get him back on his feet. This was supposed to be a great comeback for him and a great oppurtunity for us to stick our foot in the MMA big shot arena.

Well, needless to say there was a lot of chatter that he would back out on us at the last minute and he did. I"m not quite sure if he was scared Wes was going to beat him, or if maybe he was afraid of winning and all that entails for him agian.

At the last minute Mark decided not to fight, he did have an injured hand, two Drs. gave him the OKAY to fight, only one reccomended against it.
He got in the ring to a very disappointed audience and a very pissed off opponent. Seriously Wes and Mark Coleman lost their minds about it.

We did set up a rematch for the 15? of July, but I'm not sure we feel comfrotable putting our faith in Mark again.

On the bright side Wes will fight for us....maybe some day Mark Coleman.
;) but that is super secert

I was just about to post that myself :D It's a shame that things went down the way they did, here's hoping Kerr can get it together for the rematch.
Sims and Coleman would be a pretty big coup for you guys

Well we do have Sims.
Coleman, well thats all rumor and speculation;)

personally I like the guy. He even made me laugh at his antics in the ring. Others weren't so pleased ( I call them the 'pure-ists') and I am very easily entertained!
