Anyone here actually studied ancient Muay Thai Mae Mai? If you did I would like to hear from you? The mastery of Mae Mai is quiet impressive, it opens my eye to a new world of Muay Thai.:eek:

I studied Mae Mai and Luk Mai.

One is the old style and one is the new sportier style.

Old style would include headbutt (attack and defense) and different use of the hand.
Handwraps and gloves protect the hand so before there time punching was different.
